Hello everyone!

Day 6 Roppongi & Shinjuku

On the 6th Day of my Japan Trip, we went to Roppongi & Shinjuku!

We wanted to see the view from Roppongi Hills Mori Tower and the ticket of observation deck includes an admission to an on-going exhibition of the time. Exhibitions they hold were very interesting every time I went, so I would highly recommend it! Though views from Tokyo Skytree or Tokyo Metropolitan Government Observation Room are nice, I like the view from Mori Tower as you can see the iconic Tokyo Tower from the best angle!

After enjoying the view, we headed off to Shinjuku! First of all, to Shinjuku-Gyoen! We walked quite a lot from the station to the destination... I'm not sure if it was the shortest route as it was my first visit... When we finally arrived, it was already 30 minutes before closing. We rushed to buy our tickets and walked towards Shinjuku Gate (one of the exits). It would have been good if we could have seen more, but it was nearly closing time so we just saw what the garden was like and left the place. I enjoyed the green surrounding us and the quiet atmosphere, but it was just too hot...

We walked towards the area around Shinjuku Station. We had a good time doing shopping at Don Quijote and Bicqlo. The family was quite excited like, it's awesome that Bic Camera and Uniqlo are in one place!

As we hadn't had lunch (we had a big breakfast again), we were hungry by the evening. I thought it would be a good opportunity for them to try Izakaya (Japanese style pub), I started to look for one. I haven't been to Golden Gai, but Omoide Yokocho had better reviews and I had been there before, we went to Omoide Yokocho. I think the restaurant was called "Torien".

Tokoyaki, Yakitori, Yaki-Onigiri, Karaage... we ordered a variety of side dishes and enjoyed them with beer and Hai boru (whisky with sparkling water). Each dish was amazing, so though we ordered a lot, the dishes got completely empty in the end.

We got super full, so went for a walk in Kabukicho. We all got fascinated by the glittering view with neon lights. The view in Akihabara was pretty good, but this place was in even bigger scale. Though the sky is completely dark, the Kabukicho area was so bright. We were taking photos competing each other who's the best photographer! After all, we got really tired so went home. Visiting different places, trying many foods, having unique experiences every day... I thought we never run out of things to do in Tokyo!

続く!

To be continued!
